OK, I have to admit, I have been urged numerous times to start a blog about my cleaning efforts. Should I say efforts or obsession with cleaning? OK, I'M OBSESSED. But the entire point to creating this blog, is to share my experiences with cleaning products, and help you find better products that really do work.
My initial disclaimer is this: I am loyal to no particular brand. I simply use what works and will tell you what does work, and that which falls short of my high expectations. Too bad for companies who sell inferior products, that don't live up to what they claim they can do.
Sure, some people claim they are clean, but I am the QUEEN OF CLEAN.
I live a normal life in the suburbs of Chicago. I use to have a full-time job, but thanks to our nation's economic downturn, I have entered the land of employment limbo. No worries, more time to find better ways to effectively clean!
Now hold onto your seats, I have (4) dogs and (2) cats. Yes, it may seem as if I need a 12-step program, but it's really an absolute joy for me. In addition to the critters, I have a wonderful husband and fantastic daughter in middle school.
Running joke in the family, or nickname I have been given is , "Ellie Mae". If that does not ring a familiar bell, you need to watch some old school TV and check out "The Beverly Hillbillies".
Let's talk pets........ I have (2) Cocker spaniels, (1) Black Lab and (1) Golden retriever, (1) alley cat and (1) obese Himalayan named Mei Chou.
Given the fact I possess such a posse of pet's, I must maintain a clean home.
What could be worse then walking into someones home and smelling PETS? Maybe smelling something NASTY when you walk into an individuals home and you come to find out they own no pets. THAT'S JUST GROSS! Bottom line is this, a home needs to smell fresh at all times.
Cleaning is critical. It's not only good for your soul, it's essential for good health. That's right...dirty equals sick, and clean equals good health. It makes perfect sense. If you teeth are not brushed, they will smell, rot away and make you physically ill. If you home is dirty, it will smell and make you ill.
Additionally, a clean home starts with clean air. That's right, the air inside your home needs to be CLEAN.
I'll post again soon, which will technically be my first post. "Clean Air". I'll provide tips on how to achieve clean air, what to do, what to use, and what NOT TO DO.
